Addressing climate change through regenerative agriculture
The Heytesbury District Landcare Network (HDLN) created an integrated land management approach to build resilience in Australia's food and farming systems. The project worked closely with 20 farmers aimed at promoting sustainable ways that farmers can address climate change issues and how they can best monitor outcomes.
In 2020, the initiative allowed HDLN to build a project team so it can continue its research. It also secured funding to continue trials and expand the group of farmers to 30.
